Our Principles — Older Age Groups

  1. Enjoyment and Fun. The primary goal for kids should be to enjoy the game. We emphasise fun in training and matches to foster a lifelong love for the sport.
  2. Respect and Sportsmanship. Show respect to coaches, teammates, opponents, referees, and fans. Play the game with integrity, honour the rules, and demonstrate good sportsmanship, regardless of the outcome.
  3. Leadership and Responsibility. Take on a leadership role within the team, regardless of position. Lead by example, take responsibility for your actions, and encourage and mentor younger or less experienced players.
  4. Adaptability and Versatility. Be willing to adapt to different roles and situations within the team, and develop a range of skills that make you valuable in various positions.
  5. Teamwork and Cooperation. Prioritise the team's success over individual glory. Communicate effectively with teammates, support each other on and off the field, and work together toward common goals.
  6. Resilience and Mental Toughness. Develop the mental fortitude to handle pressure, setbacks, and criticism. Stay focused, maintain a positive attitude, and bounce back stronger from challenges.
  7. Commitment to Training and Fitness. Dedicate yourself to maintaining peak physical condition through regular training, proper nutrition, and adequate rest.
