Code of Conduct

1. Purpose

The purpose of this by-law is to establish and maintain a code of conduct that outlines the expected standards of behaviour for all members of the Robina Raptors Junior Rugby League Club. This by-law also governs key administrative and governance matters to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the club.

2. Scope

This by-law applies to all club members, including players, coaches, officials, volunteers, and supporters, regardless of their role within the club. It also extends to any person attending or participating in club-sanctioned activities, events, or competitions.

Members must respect and take care of all club property and facilities. Vandalism, theft, or misuse of club resources will result in disciplinary action.

This governance clause seeks to extend provisions within the constitution, and is made within the rules of the constitution:

6. Amendments

This by-law may be amended or repealed by a two-thirds majority vote of the members present at the AGM or an SGM called for this purpose. Proposed amendments must be submitted in writing to the Executive Committee at least 5 days before the meeting.

7. Review

This by-law shall be reviewed annually by the Executive Committee to ensure its continued relevance and effectiveness. Any changes to this by-law shall be communicated to all members in a timely manner.

8. Adoption

This by-law shall come into effect from December 1, 2024, and will be reviewed in 12 months.
